As Communications and Public Relations Specialist at The PGA of America, Ashley Peden is responsible for developing and coordinating the communication and public relations strategies and tactics for The PGA of America’s new strategic plan, Golf 2.0. The overall goal of Golf 2.0 is to increase the number of golfers, rounds of golf played and revenue generated from golf over the next decade among current and potential consumers of the game. Provide communications support to increase consumer awareness through focused and consistent public relations and communications strategies and tactics including social media and consumer marketing initiatives.



Prior to joining The PGA of America, Ashley, who has more than 10 years of experience in communications and public relations, led and supported consumer campaigns with Moroch Partners, Greenville Drive (MILB), and Jeff Dezen Public Relations.



Ashley is originally from Greenville, SC and now calls South Florida, home. She earned her BA in Mass Media Arts from Clark Atlanta University. She is involved with several nonprofit boards in the South Florida area that focus on the arts, providing opportunities for young people, and increasing awareness around diversity issues.
